Who We Are

Art Inclusive was founded by Amanda Harris (she/her), a visionary with a heart for helping others. Compassionate and empathetic by nature, she’s spent much of her life in service to those in need. Her previous work at a nonprofit gave her the opportunity to support individuals experiencing food insecurity, houselessness, and limited access to medical care and hygiene products. Her passion for community care runs deep.

Above all, Amanda is a fierce mama bear to two truly outstanding young men. She and her husband, Ken (he/him), have been married for 25 years and make a dynamic, devoted team. The family lives in McDonough, Georgia with their three spoiled dogs and a sometimes thriving collection of houseplants.

Creativity has always been a central part of Amanda’s life. Taught by her grandmother at a young age to sew and craft, she grew up in a family full of creative energy—and has passed that love of art on to her children. Their oldest son is a talented visual artist, working in both digital and traditional mediums, while their youngest expresses his creativity through a passion for jazz and trumpet playing. Whether it’s drawing, painting, crafting, making music, or crazy hot glue adventures, creativity is part of the family’s everyday rhythm.

Since moving to Henry County, Georgia, two years ago, we found our tribe—an amazing community of like-minded people—and we have truly blossomed through the friendships and deep bonds we have made. Amanda’s dream for Art Inclusive is rooted in love, creativity, and the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported. We believe in the power of connection, and we know just how vital community can be.
